“7 Reasons Why Guitar Lessons with Me Are The Best in Arvada (and the Denver and Boulder area)”
1) Incredible Results and Experiences for My Students
Click the ‘Watch My Students’ tab above and spend some time watching live student performances from my unbelievably awesome semi-annual student showcase event, the Arvada Guitar Summit.
You can also click HERE.
You’ll see many different people of all ages and ability levels do fantastic things on the guitar. While some of these people were more experienced than others before they started their lessons with me, no one was able to play the things you see in the video before they met me.
Not even close.
Go ahead and watch these videos now. This page will still be here when you come back…
Now that you’ve seen the Arvada Guitar Summit videos, I’m going to be as direct as possible about what you just watched:
There’s no other guitar teacher in Arvada or the entire Denver and Boulder area for that matter who can get exceptional results like this for their students (and also has video proof of the results they get).
Yes, I went through the trouble for you and I checked out every other site I could find in the area.
The students featured in these many Arvada Guitar Summit performance videos are kids, teenagers, and adults who’ve actually taken guitar lessons with me in recent years in Arvada.
These aren’t people I taught many years ago before I moved here.
You’re not listening to audio files that could have taken hours to record or were manipulated in post-production to sound good.
These aren’t just written or video testimonials without student guitar playing examples to actually prove what’s being claimed.
With me, you’re watching actual video demonstrations of my students, their playing, and the incredible outcomes they get.
You can believe what you see in these video performances.
Most importantly, you can trust that you or your child will also get these amazing results when you study guitar with me.
2) Personalized Guitar Learning Program
Guitar lessons with me are 100% personalized around what you want to learn.
Before I even accept you as a new student (and I don’t accept everyone who wants to take lessons with me), I will take the time to meet with you and get to know you personally.
In that free meeting, you will share exactly what you want to accomplish on the guitar and I’ll let you know if and how I can help you.
For some styles and some goals, I might not be the best fit. If that’s the case, I’ll honestly tell you that upfront before we even start lessons.
Look, as great as lessons with me are, I understand that it’s not for everyone. So I really want to make sure that it’s right for you when you register.
The bottom line is that if I can’t help you, I don’t want your money!
If we decide we’re a good fit for each other, I’ll go over all the details about my personalized learning program for you at the meeting.
When you take guitar lessons with me, you can feel confident that I’ll understand exactly where you are now and where you want to go.
Most importantly, I will design the most effective and personalized approach to help you or your child get there.

3) Former School Teacher Using Real Teaching Methods
Almost every other guitar teacher out there only has one type of teaching experience – they’ve only taught other people how to play guitar.
This results in a very limiting experience for their students.
In addition to having a certificate in guitar performance from the Los Angeles College of Music, I’m a former school teacher with a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve also done training and instructional design work in corporate America.
When I teach guitar, I draw from all of my teaching experiences and my deep understanding of how kids, teens, and adults actually learn.
This helps my guitar students improve faster and more effectively than they ever could have imagined!
If I told you all you need to know about the exact methods I use, I’d probably put you to sleep.
But, rest assured, these teaching strategies work extraordinarily well for all of my students regardless of their age, previous experience, or natural talent.

4) Organized, Structured, and Clear Teaching Curriculum
As a former school teacher, I know exactly how to create meaningful and effective learning programs for my students.
Everything you do will make sense because it’s all part of a sequential, organized, and time-tested curriculum.
You won’t have random things thrown at you with no explanation of what it is, how to practice it, or why it’s important.
There’s no trial and error or making it up as I go along with my proven approach!
You will know exactly what to practice each week to improve. You will be able to see exactly how what I give you fits in to your overall guitar playing dreams.
The bottom line is that you will be astonished by the progress you or your child will make when you learn guitar with my system.

5) Personalized Attention
My teaching studio is built around one-on-one lessons plus small group classes and ‘invitation only’ jam sessions and master classes.
You or your child will always get the personal attention you need to continue progressing as a guitar player and you will enjoy the process as you improve.
If you take one of my group classes or jam sessions, you can be confident that the class is designed for you to get the personal attention that you need to succeed.
You’re not going to be part of a group class with me showing you things you’re not interested in doing.
You won’t be confused because your lesson or class is disorganized and you don’t know what to expect each time you show up.
You won’t be part of some crazy thing where I combine several guitarists with varying experience levels and opposite goals together at the same time and call it a class.
This means that if you’re a beginner, you don’t have to worry about being placed in a group or jam session with more advanced players and being expected to miraculously catch up with them.
And, if you’re advanced, you won’t be bored to tears being placed in a group with beginners.
Or if you’re a parent, you don’t have to worry about your child being forced into group classes with kids they don’t get along with.
If I invite you to participate in one of my incredible student jam session groups, it will only be because you’re a good fit for the group and that the group is a good fit for you and your long-term guitar aspirations.
The advantage you get from all the personal attention you receive from me is that you’ll always be able to stay on track with the guitar.
Imagine never getting stuck, not knowing if you’re doing the wrong thing, feeling lost or confused, or having a question go unanswered.
That’s exactly what will happen when you or your child learns guitar with me.
Click here to register and you’ll get all the personal attention you need!
6) Patient and Supportive Environment
I understand that everyone learns things at a different pace. The guitar is not an exception to that rule.
If it takes one person two weeks to master something and another person two months, it’s okay with me.
I know that no two people are the same and even some of my really advanced students learn at different speeds!
When you study guitar with me, you will never get blamed for not learning something as fast as someone else or for not growing as fast as I want.
If it takes you or your child a while to learn something, I will never say that it’s your fault. I understand that everyone learns at their own pace.
I am an extremely patient person and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help you learn.
I’ll give you supportive feedback when something’s going wrong and I’ll share with you the EXACT things you need to do to fix that issue.
And I’ll also celebrate your achievements with you, no matter how small they are.

7) 100% Commitment to Your Success
Look, I’m not one of those guitar teachers who secretly wishes they were touring the country in a rock band living in a grimy broken down van instead of giving lessons to local students.
I’m a former school teacher who still loves teaching, inspiring others, and making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Years ago, I just happened to decide that I’d rather teach guitar and music instead of high school social studies.
As your guitar instructor, I’m completely committed to making sure you have a phenomenal experience as my student.
And I’m completely committed to helping you or your child become successful as a guitar player.
